I love using decorations in my Happy Planner!
I get questions on how to get started with planner decoration, so if you’re interested in tutorials or “plan with me” posts, I’ll have a series soon!
I decided to go with blush pink, powder blue, and golden brown for my monthly October spread. I like the gold rings I have in my Happy Planner right now, and gold in general! The color scheme in the planner for October is powder blue anyway.
Aren’t the washi tapes cute?! The first few calendar squares are blank, so I covered them with autumn washi and I also put that washi tape around the rings. Blush pink washi with gold dots and golden washi with transparent hearts are layered around there, as well. That cute cursive “hello” seemed like the perfect way to say hello fall.
Moving over to the other page, I got a little creative with some alphabet kraft stickers I picked up at the Target dollar spot (see my Target haul). Taking a white gel pen, I drew hearts and lines on the letters instead of leaving the kraft plain.
The Love You pink heart washi tape was the first thing I laid down besides the cute camera “ephemera” sticker. I loved the combo of brown and pink and I love decorating with hearts.
So there you have it, October in my Happy Planner! I’ll be photo journaling on these pages throughout the month! You can find lots of cute goodies on Amazon, by the way, like these pieces under 5 bucks. I plan to share an Amazon craft haul in the near future!
